Clifftop town with coves below.
Zambujeira do Mar is built on top of the cliff, with the chapel of Nossa Senhora do Mar leaning out over the ocean. Below are beaches tucked between rocks, and further south the coast opens into small coves such as Carvalhal. Every August the nearby Herdade da Casa Branca hosts the MEO Sudoeste festival.
