Whitewashed village with a square plaza and Pessegueiro Island.
Porto Covo is a village of white houses trimmed in blue, laid out around a square plaza. The coast around it is cut into small coves between cliffs, with Pessegueiro Island just offshore. It is the starting point of the Rota Vicentina Fishermen's Trail and the northern gateway to the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.
