Manjedoura

A restaurant and bar in the centre of Vila Nova de Milfontes, a few steps from the Fishermen's Trail. It opened in 2022 as a partnership between Tasca do Celso, Herdade do Touril and the SushiCafé group, with a simple idea: a table where several generations sit together and everyone finds something they fancy.

The kitchen brings together regional petiscos, fresh fish and grilled meats with artisan wood-fired pizzas, burgers and a few dishes that cross over — such as clams in garlic butter served with pizza dough, black pork lasagne or the Southwest pizza, with black pork sausage, fresh goat's cheese, mozzarella, rocket and oregano.

There are around 60 seats indoors and 100 outside, with a pet-friendly garden, and a bar that stays open later. Bookings are accepted and there is takeaway.

It is open all year round, which makes it a good choice outside the summer too — for a family dinner, a pizza after the beach or a drink at the end of the day.
